The Project Management team is comprised of 10 team members who are focused on growing and retaining Iowa’s existing company base, and recruiting new company operations to the state.

The Project Management Team managed an average of 470 active projects and leads for FY ’09, which resulted in the following:

52 projects approved by the Iowa Economic Development Board
Projected capital investment of $1.3 billion
Job creation/retention projections of 3,402

Conducted/participated in 10 Sell Iowa trips resulting in:

198 total face-to-face meetings

55 meetings with headquarter operations that have Iowa facilities
81 meetings with companies with no Iowa presence
62 meetings with site location professionals
