Vision Iowa Status Report 2010
The
Vision Iowa Program
was created to assist projects that will provide recreational, cultural, entertainment
and educational attractions. Administered by the Vision Iowa Board and Iowa Department of Economic Development,
the Vision Iowa Program promotes the creation of local public private partnerships,
encourages leveraging of financial resources, and supports strong, local leadership
across Iowa. Marketing Funds have been awarded to specifically advertise facilities
that have received financial assistance from the Vision Iowa Program.
Iowa is ranked the 2nd most livable state in the nation. (Congressional Quarterly (CQ) Press, 2009)
