Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Report for FY '10
The RFIP Board awarded 54 grants in FY10; however, one grant was withdrawn by the applicant after the awards were made. Three companies received additional funds through amended awards.
Two E85 dispenser, two tank vehicle and one biodiesel terminal awards from FY09 that either expired or were withdrawn in FY10 include two E85 dispensers, two tank vehicles and one biodiesel terminal. These award amounts were returned to the RFIP fund. The RFIP fund ended the year with a balance of $3,547,226.
Almost all applicants for an E85 dispenser, E85 blender dispenser and biodiesel dispensers are requesting five-year contracts and awards of 70% of their renewable fuel infrastructure improvement costs up to $50,000.

For the third consecutive year, the Iowa Motor Truck Association did not bring forth a candidate to serve on the Renewable Fuel Infrastructure (RFIP) Board. Therefore, the RFIP Board functions with ten board members:
