The Iowa Entrepreneur Network provides Iowa entrepreneurs and investors with a community which integrates entrepreneurial expertise and interests across the state. Our goal is to create a critical mass of talent to accelerate the growth of Iowa business and career opportunities.

Angelsoft provides a platform for entrepreneurs to submit their business plan for review by potential investors. Angelsoft boasts to have become a vital ecosystem where real entrepreneurs and real investors meet and collaborate in the effort to build the best new companies of the 21st Century.

Directions for applying to use Angelsoft

The Iowa Entrepreneur Network [www.angelsoft.net/apply/ien] uses Angelsoft to manage our submission process. If this is the first time for a company to use Angelsoft, the company must register. If an Angelsoft account exists and has been used to apply to another angel group, the company can login using the existing account.

• After login, the company will be taken through a step by step process that will gather basic information about the company. There is an opportunity to upload documents that contain the business plan, presentation and video pitch. If these documents are prepared in advance, the application process typically takes about 20 minutes.
• Please fill out the application completely. The input may be completed in phases as data can be saved and retrieved at any time to allow you to complete the application process at your convenience.
• Upon completing the application process, a confirmation email will be sent. A one-page PDF file containing all the application information will also be generated. This "Perfect One-Pager" helps investors assess how to proceed with potential investments and enables investors to compare companies fairly. The software program also gives ability to save the application as a PDF file for future use.
