Investors obtain permanent U.S. residency by investing in an Iowa business
Immigrant Investor program (EB-5) projects are permitted in Iowa in a wide range of industries and spurs investment in Iowa businesses, especially those in rural areas or areas of high unemployment.
The program targets qualified individuals living outside of the U.S. seeking to obtain lawful permanent residency by investing in a business that will benefit the U.S. economy and create or save at least 10 full-time U.S. jobs. Under this program, administered by the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), the Iowa Regional Center works with CMB Regional Centers, LLC to identify and coordinate efforts.
- Investments must be a minimum of $1 million, or $500,000 in rural areas or areas experiencing unemployment (targeted employment areas)
