Iowa Downtown Conference
The Iowa Downtown Conference is the premier statewide annual conference for professionals and volunteers involved with downtown revitalization in Iowa and neighboring states.

Downtown Forums
Downtown and community leaders across the state of Iowa are invited to attend a Downtown Forum in one of four locations in June. The forums give communities the opportunity to talk to each other about their downtown ideas, successes and challenges. Staff will facilitate discussions related to downtown revitalization, tour the host community's downtown, and present on grant programs and other resources. Participants are encouraged to come ready to share examples from their communities.

Downtown Resource Library
The Downtown Resource Lending Library provides many different downtown revitalization resources available for use through the Iowa Downtown Resource Center. Submit the PDF form via email to reserve a resource.

Mapping the Dollars and Sense of Land Use
Use the upper floor housing resources to help become more fiscally efficient and sustainable.

Published three times a year, the Main Street Messenger is the state's downtown revitalization newsletter.

Self-Supported Municipal Improvement District (SSMID) Toolkit
A partnership with the University of Iowa, this toolkit encompasses the process of SSMID creation from boundary and budget planning, to methods and process for community outreach, and how to evaluate the success of a SSMID program.

Sustainability Case Studies
The Iowa Economic Development Authority has provided technical and financial assistance to communities to encourage sustainable community practices.

Operating Historic Theaters in Downtown
Through a partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Divison, these resources were developed to assisting communities sustain historic downtown theaters.
