An impartial analysis of Iowa’s bioscience strengths

The state of Iowa commissioned TEConomy Partners to conduct a thorough analysis of its bioscience capabilities.  The resulting report, "Iowa Bioscience Development:  Core Competency Analysis, Platform Identification and Crosscutting Strategies" identifies four bioscience industries in which Iowa possesses unique research and development strengths: biobased chemicals, medical devices, precision and digital agriculture, and vaccines and immunotherapy. The report enumerates Iowa’s assets in these areas, outlines Iowa’s economic development strategy and provides valuable data for companies considering an Iowa location.
