Chinese news channel reports on the country’s close trade relationship with Iowa

For decades Iowa has had one of the closest trade relationships with China of any state in the country, as evidenced by President Donald Trump’s recent choice of former Iowa governor Terry Branstad as ambassador to China.

Recently, CGTN America covered a Chinese delegation that visited Muscatine, Iowa. Watch the CGTN story below.

In addition, Chinese news agency Xinhua recently wrote about an Iowa farmer who is creating a model farm in China’s Hebei province to introduce Iowa farming practices to China. Read the article here.
