Three locations added to Iowa Certified Sites program

Companies looking for immediate, shovel-ready sites that are ready for development should know Iowa just added three new certified sites. Sites in Centerville, Dubuque and Sergeant Bluff have joined Iowa’s Certified Sites program, bringing the total number of sites in the program to 19. Here are the details on the three new sites:

The Centerville Appanoose Industrial Park – The Appanoose ED Corporation property contains 67 developable acres adjacent to an Iowa Southern Railway line certified ready for heavy industrial use. Site Profile

Dubuque Site – This city of Dubuque land consists of six parcels covering 163 total acres, of which 103 acres are developable. This site is located adjacent to the existing Dubuque Industrial Center West. Site Profile

Sergeant Bluff Park –125 acres with easy access to the Southbridge Industrial Area in Sioux City, Interstate 29 and the Sioux Gateway Airport. Site Profile

All site certification in Iowa’s Certified Sites program is conducted by McCallum Sweeney Consulting. Site due diligence is completed for locations certified through the program and resulting issues are mitigated, making the sites “risk free.”
