Trade Mission to Vietnam & Philippines
IEDA will lead a high-impact trade mission to Southeast Asia. This trip to Vietnam and the Philippines offers fast-track exploration of two of the most important countries within the dynamic region.
Southeast Asia's combined GDP of $3 trillion is the 5th largest economy in the world. If it were a single nation, it would be the third most populous country. The region has a young population and a growing middle-class that is expected to fuel two-thirds of the world’s consumption growth by 2030.
Vietnam & Philippines provide great opportunities for Iowa companies in the service and industrial/manufacturing sectors to expand their market reach and export sales. Their consumers are receptive to U.S.-made products, however, companies must make an effort to develop inroads in the Southeast Asia markets. This trade mission is a cost-effective way to begin the process.
Attendees will receive a customized and targeted schedule of meetings with prospective partners.
