How your company can join Iowa trade missions to form international relationships

Next week, Iowa pork and beef producers and state of Iowa officials, led by Governor Terry Branstad, will head to Beijing and Tokyo to help Iowa companies form relationships in those international markets.

This trade mission to China and Japan is the latest of several the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) organizes each year. During these trade missions, Iowa companies meet with potential customers and foreign government officials to facilitate trade. Some of the trade missions are organized around a specific industry and open to any Iowa company that operates in that industry, while other missions are general and open to any Iowa company.

Below are the upcoming, scheduled Iowa trade missions (as of 11/3/2016). Click to read more about the mission, how you can take your company global and learn how to register. Don’t see a mission that’s right for you? The IEDA is always planning another trip. Check this calendar often for updates.

The IEDA also administers financial assistance programs that support eligible companies’ participation in trade missions. For more information visit iowaeconomicdevelopment.com/IFA.

The IEDA offers several additional services to help Iowa companies market internationally, expand their businesses and employ more Iowans. To learn more email opportunities@iowa.gov.
