INTERNATIONAL GRANT FUNDS AVAILABLE
The International Trade Office (ITO) is accepting grant applications for events and projects taking place during the new funding period (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024). A few updates have been made to the international financial programs; more information can be found on the fact sheet or webpage. The programs include opportunities for state funding as well as U.S. SBA State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) funding. ITO TRADE EVENTS

CONSTRUCTION TRADE SHOW/MISSION IN MEXICO
October 11-13, 2023
IEDA, in conjunction with our Latin America global representatives at MILA, invite you to exhibit and participate in Expo CHIHAC, Mexico and Latin America's leading construction, engineering, architecture and design event, gathering all stages of the construction cycle. In addition to attendance at the show, companies can participate in a trade mission during the week with matchmaking services available. This is an opportunity for companies who want market research and in-country, one-on-one meetings during the week through assistance of IEDA and local representative MILA. AGRITECHNICA
November 12-18, 2023
IEDA will host an Iowa pavilion at AGRITECHNICA 2023 with the opportunity for co-exhibitors to join. At this leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, visitors from around the world will meet up with key players and game changers to discuss new concepts and ground-breaking innovations that will ensure agricultural productivity and protect nature and the environment. The pavilion would be funded through the U.S. SBA’s STEP grant and eligible companies will be considered as potential co-exhibitors with responsibility for the co-exhibitor specific fees. PROTEIN & GRAIN MISSION TO COLOMBIA
November 26-December 2, 2023
IEDA will lead a delegation to the Republic of Colombia for an ag-focused trade mission. This market has largest economy in Latin America and the third largest population. Aided by major security improvements and steady economic growth in recent years, Colombia continues to increase its commercial and investment ties to the U.S. with ag exports leading the way. AG TRADE MISSION TO MEXICO
February 18-24, 2024
IEDA will lead a delegation to the agricultural-focused areas of Guadalajara in the west and Merida in the Yucatan/east regions of Mexico. A key component of this trip will be to reinforce the USMCA relevance, market access and growth opportunities across the regions. TRADE MISSION TO CHILE & PERU
April 14-19, 2024
IEDA will host a trade mission with our experienced in-country consultants to evaluate markets, identify potential partners or customers, and have in-country meetings with qualified prospects in Chile and Peru. It is open to all interested Iowa companies across all industries. The mission includes complete mission and appointment planning, research and assessments, and guidance post-mission. LIVESTOCK TRADE SHOW & MISSION IN SOUTHEAST ASIA
May 29-Jun 5, 2024
This opportunity is valuable for suppliers to the livestock industry that want to grow exports. IEDA is sponsoring a pavilion at ILDEX-Vietnam, an exhibition focused on livestock, dairy, meat processing and aquaculture. Participants will receive booth space, interpretation and business meetings. Following the show, IEDA will lead a targeted trade mission to the Philippines for Iowa companies that supply products, services and equipment used in the livestock production industry. Vietnam and the Philippines are burgeoning markets with an appreciation of U.S.-made goods and services. Space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
